Stars and Diamonds Pebble - Stratasys

Stars and Diamonds is a dense tessellation of interlocking geometries that penetrate through the pebble. The inner layers of the pebble grow and change in colour to highlight the core.My initial submission for the design competition was Swell, an organic and flowing geometry. Aiming to exhibit the capabilities of the Stratsys printers through Solid, Void and Colour. With the extension of the competition deadline I decided to attempt a second version that approached the same concept with an orthogonal and sharp design.
