New Version 3 is now live: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2483545 My new Stargate Platform model has arrived, and I'm excited to share it with you. This platform comes in two versions: one with a built-in Stargate insert hole and another without. I've had the chance to print this out myself, and it looks fantastic - big and sturdy, designed to work seamlessly with the Glitch Gates (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39976). Before you start printing, be sure to measure and scale it accurately to fit your Stargate models perfectly. Keep in mind that this model doesn't come with any electronics; it's simply a display base. Printing in pieces is necessary due to its size, but don't worry - I've included a split model to make the process easier. If you need more pieces, use Microsoft's 3D Builder for free to split them up as needed. If you take the time to paint and weather this platform, it'll look incredibly cool.
