Stargate Cat

Stargate Cat

thingiverse

This is my very first attempt at using Autodesk 123d Catch. This is a cat that I bought at auction from the tv series "Stargate SG-1". I printed this on the Flashforge Dreamer at 0.2mm using supports. I may try printing this again with no supports at a later stage just to see if it can be done. UPDATE: I have now confirmed this model can be printed perfectly fine with NO SUPPORTS and NO RAFT!!! I printed it last night with excellent results. The bonus is that without the supports, all the details in the cats chest harness comes out great. You can even see the "Scarab Beetle" design in the middle of his chest. I was worried about under the chin and the top of his legs but it all worked fine. Hope you enjoy! Instructions I used Autodesk 123d Catch on the iPhone 5 to capture this model. I then cleaned it up in Autodesk Meshmixer and then tweaked in Autodesk 123d Design and finally saved the .STL file I printed this on a Flashforge Dreamer 3D printer using the following: Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Nozzle: 205C Platform: 60C Layer: 0.2mm Material: PLA Infill: 15% hexagon pattern Shells: 3 Raft: No Support: Skeinforge supports
