Stargate Bookends
thingiverse
I wanted some Stargate bookends and everything I could find was kind of old, very basic, or geared more toward FDM printers. These are smaller but better detailed, remixed from several other files, and sized for typical resin printers. Still plenty big enough to be bookends, and if you print them solid they're heavier than filament anyway. Not meant to be screen accurate - I took some liberties with the look so that they would mirror each other nicely on both sides of the books. The "V4" ones have a blank stargate for you to do what you want. The "V5" ones have the front and back halves of a trooper going through. (I also included the sliced versions of that trooper in the troops file, so you can print him separately if you want). Both versions print standing up with very minimal supports. One file found outside of Thingiverse (but still Creative Commons licensed) is "Stargate Event Horizon Lithophane" by CrazyJ on Cults. Many thanks for this one!If you make it, please post photos!
