Stargate Bookends

This project built upon my previous Walking Dead bookends and was designed specifically as a birthday gift for my sister-in-law who is an avid fan of the show. To bring this design to life, I employed a range of infills tailored to the specific part being printed. Additionally, some parts necessitated the use of a brim, while others required supports - in certain cases, both were necessary. Initially pleased with my initial design and print, I soon discovered that it had an excessive number of small components and was overly complicated to assemble. Consequently, I returned to the drawing board and redrafted the project. The images and STL files displayed here showcase the revised, streamlined versions. Although some compromises were made on certain parts, and some original details have been lost in the process, I firmly believe that this model remains effective despite these changes.
