Stargate Bookends

I have just updated this project with a brand new file called g1-gate.stl which is fully manifold. The previous version was causing issues, so I've made sure to fix those problems and uploaded the corrected file right away. This project is a follow-up to my popular Walking Dead bookends and was designed as a birthday gift for my sister-in-law who loves the show. As always, I used different infills for each part being printed, and some parts required a brim or supports - in some cases, both were necessary. Although I initially loved my design and print job, I realized it had too many small parts and was quite tricky to assemble. So, I decided to start from scratch and redesign the whole thing. The pictures and STL files you see here are the new, simplified versions of this model. I had to make some compromises on certain parts, but I still think it's an effective design - even if it doesn't have all the original details that made it so special in the first place.
