I designed this version of the chassis to support the dual charging scheme that's unique to the Stardust V3: it can be charged via USB through its micro-USB port in the upper section, or through its conventional 2.1mm recharge port in the mid section. The upper part is specifically engineered to hold a 28mm speaker - or any smaller one - while the lower part of the chassis houses the Li-Ion battery, which is dimensioned for a 18650 type, and the Stardust V3 itself.
