Starbuck Barista Rocky Racnilio Funnel
thingiverse
I'm using a funnel for my Starbucks Barista espresso filter, which keeps the mess contained around the grinder. I grind the coffee beans directly into the filter from a Rocky Rancilio, then place it into the machine. The funnel's outside diameter fits snugly onto the espresso filter and its inside diameter matches perfectly with my tamper, making everything easy to handle. Instead of holding down the momentary switch for 20 seconds while filling the filter, I've made a modification by drilling a small hole in the switch to fit a small shaft - a toothpick worked well for the purpose. Now, I can use the on-off rocker switch on the side and focus on preparing my cappuccino. To reduce static charge buildup as the coffee is ground, I've also applied some aluminum tape to the grinder housing at the back of the coffee spout, grounding it securely. I designed this funnel using Fusion 360 and printed it on a Cetus3D MK2.
