The trailer for Episode VII showcases X-wings soaring over a serene lake on an uncharted planet, sparking an idea for a 'trench run' style game scenario featuring X-wing fighters operating on the surface of a planet. Inspired by my friend's childhood toy, a stormtrooper transport, where six troopers sit uncomfortably in small tubes attached to the sides of the vehicle, vulnerable to Rebel fire but useful for moving troops between buildings, I envisioned this concept as background scenery for an Imperial outpost. This scenic piece serves no practical purpose in the miniatures game; its sole function is to create a sense of occupancy within the Imperial outpost.
