Star Wars X-Wing - Asteroid Bases (for 3mm rod)

3D Bases Matching Six Basic Asteroids for Star Wars X-Wing. These are designed to fit a 3mm Perspex rod to support actual asteroids (I used lava rocks). Note that the rod hole is a tight fit (I gently hammered mine in), so it shouldn't require glue. I did slice my ones with Detect Thin Walls enabled as the wall next to the rod hole is very thin. When printed as is, they are almost identical to original cardboard bases in the base game. The base height is 2.8mm and the widget token holder is 11mm diameter by 5mm high (matching ship base widgets). I added these to provide additional support for the Perspex rod and give the ability to add numbered tokens to asteroids if a given scenario demands it. If you mirror them along the x-axis in your slicer tool, and print a second set, you'll have twelve flavors of asteroid bases. UPDATE: February 23, 2020 I've added six new asteroids (Asteroid_Base_##.stl) and six debris field bases from the second edition Never Tell Me the Odds pack. Again, these can be mirrored in your slicer.
