For the fans of the authentic Star Wars universe (not the works of Abrams the Defiler), Rogue Squadron is not the only renowned X-Wing unit. In the X-Wing series of novels, Wedge Antilles founded Wraith Squadron, a commando unit of pilots specializing in covert operations and comprised of misfits and washouts who Wedge believed deserved a second chance. Fans should go and read the books, as I highly recommend them, and if they continue producing extended universe movies like Rogue One (a superior film to the entire prequel trilogy AND The Force Awakens all rolled into one), we can only hope the Wraiths will also receive their day on the screen? This coaster depicts the Wraith Squadron unit patch, designed by Wraith pilot Tyria Sarkin, and worn on the uniform jacket. If you're printing it yourself, I say: be prepared with tweezers and patience. This coaster is also available from my Etsy store, printed and assembled, and can be supplied with a pack of 3x5mm neodymium magnets for retrofitting into a magnetic plaque or sign, or use the mounting holes on the back to permanently fix it down.
