Star Wars - Ugly - TYE-Wing

This is another Star Wars beauty for X-Wing miniatures. Scale 1/270. I haven't dealt with pegs yet. I'll probably use a magnetic stand again. This is a remix of Tie-Fighter from rbross and Y-Wing from lagnaf. Both were cleaned, sectioned, joined and cleaned again. The model is printable, as evident from the photos. Print Settings Printer Brand: 3D Systems Printer: Cube 3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 70 microns Notes: I have printed it twice and I give you both models I used. Either Model Tye-Wing Upright.stl or Model TYE-Wing_-_supported.stl will work. Model Tye-Wing Upright.stl is best when printed standing upright on its engines, with no additional supports. Model TYE-Wing_-_supported.stl can be printed as it is, without additional supports. I recommend using my custom supports because slicers tend to generate unremovable supports in the middle of the engines. Optionally, take the clear STL and generate whatever supports you please. Post-Printing Removing Supports When printed standing upright, removing supports was a relatively easy process with a scalpel or wire cutters. However, when I printed it this way, my printer messed up the top layer, therefore the cabin wasn't good enough for my purposes. When printed horizontally, removal of inner supports is difficult. Engines tend to bend and crack. I used wire cutters and held the parts as firmly as possible. Cutting supports with a scalpel against thin air deforms the model a lot. (Or keep the supports in and paint them. The ship is supposed to be a junkyard slapjob anyway.)
