The UT-60D, known to fans as the U-Wing, was a rugged transport/gunship built by Incom Corporation for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the turbulent Galactic Civil War. Deployed primarily as an insertion craft that dropped troops directly into combat zones, and provided sustained suppressive fire support, the U-wing featured at least one side door capable of functioning also as a viewport for its onboard blaster cannon.
