Check out even more awesome stuff on my Facebook page Bigbangcollectables@300zxcolin And also, be sure to visit my Etsy store https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/BigBangCollectables This is my unique design for a TIE Striker, primarily inspired by the Rogue One concept artwork book with several modifications made to ensure it prints smoothly and features enhanced weaponry. I had gone quite far in developing this design when I realized that the wings are intended to pivot and swing up and down... What a mistake! Maybe I'll update it at a later time, but for now, the wings are fixed. In terms of printing, be cautious with the forward wing section as it is extremely tall and prone to flimsiness. I reinforced mine when the print approached the top to prevent wobbling, but make sure not to move it out of alignment. It's probably a good idea to go really slow when you reach the top. All prints were made at .2 layer height with 5% infill. I've included my stand base design and used a 6mm brass tube to support the model (the model does not have any pre-drilled holes, so you will need to add your own). Feel free to design your own base if you don't like mine. The canopy is printed in clear PLA with a 20% infill. Enjoy!
