I want to recreate a screen accurate bottle as seen in The Last Jedi where Luke Skywalker milks a sea creature and drinks the green milk. To make it, I need to print the ring without support material. For the base, printing it right side up will be faster but it will require external support which can mar the surface. I recommend printing it upside down as indicated in the provided file. This method will take longer and generate a lot of internal support, but the outside surface will be much smoother, which is more important to me. The model measures 88mm in outer diameter and 85mm in inner diameter. You should measure your own bottle and adjust the model before printing, leaving .25mm clearance for a snug fit. To finish it, I just need to paint the neck black, or use black electrical tape, paint the cap silver to match, add a gray leather band (one end tapers to a point), and gray webbing straps, snaps, rivets, and waxed twine. The bottle I used is available at this link. http://a.co/gMBt3UF I purchased a bottle with a black lid, which needs 8mm cut off the bottom to make it thin enough to match the prop and show more of the bottle's neck. You also need to cut a hole in the cap to match the opening of the prop. The bottle comes with two caps so you can leave one intact.
