The Star Wars Stormtrooper VII TFA Blaster was designed by Kirby Downey. This was a collaborative project between MyMiniFactory and U.S.-based tech YouTuber Barnacules Nerdgasm. Our goal was to design the first fully wearable 3D-printed Stormtrooper suit for The Force Awakens. The entire suit was designed around Barnacules's body, tailored to fit him perfectly. This project was our largest undertaking yet, with design work done in London and printing taking place in Barnacules's makerspace in the US. Barnacules will showcase the suit at PAX Prime gaming convention in Seattle, unveiling it to thousands of people live. Check out the video and progress pictures of the suit.
