Star Wars Senate Guard Helmet: Episode 1-3

GOOD PRINTING ALL!! (Sorry about those pictures being distorted) I'm thrilled to release Version one (V1) and Version two (V2) of my Star Wars Episode 1-3 Senate Guard Set! Yes, the Royal guard/ Royal blue Smerf guard that protects Queen Amidala and other senators throughout the prequels. The helmets are identical, but I've made the "Mohawks" interchangeable. The Ep. 1 "Hairy Hawk" can be a challenge to do, but I'll link a tutorial on how I achieved it soon. Don't let it discourage you; it's just $10 of synthetic hair, wig hairspray, and some time! It's definitely worth it in the end. My personal helmets made from this print (and a simple royal blue paint job) are approved by Rebel Legion and Ep. 3 is accepted by the 501st. With some elbow grease, you should be able to use these in your costumes to get into either group easily! (V1) is a one-piece helmet that slips over your head. It can be a bit snug through the neck, so measure wisely! (I wear a 7 1/4 inch hat and am probably the largest you'll want to have to fit in V1 without resizing) (V2) has a removable face shield like the original helmets in the movies and fits even larger heads more accurately because there's no neck funnel. The V2 is equipped with holes for magnets and pin points to help align the shield in place, although it can be tricky. Episode 1 Mohawk is a trench design, while Episode 3 is a "filled-in" version. Both mohawks fit the helmet and are attached with two short wood/sheet rock screws. Episode 3 helmets need to be fitted with a molded plexi-glass shield. I simply placed a 1mm thick piece in the oven until pliable, put it in the helmet, squished it down, trimmed the excess, and sprayed it with transparent "model car tint". INSTRUCTIONS ADDED FOR EP.1 HAIR HAWK!!! I've spent four years perfecting this helmet through trial and error prints, and it's finally ready for you to try on! Don't sell my files under any circumstances. These are created by a fan for the fans! This STL is not for sale or should ever be sold in print or recast. Help others by printing it for them and don't overcharge for your services. I love what the Thingiverse community, as well as the Star Wars (Pre-Disney) has done to help me succeed, and I hope this can help you too. P.S. Please only link these files from this site, and give credit where it's due!
