Star Wars Rose’s Rebel Alliance Iris Ring

My take on Rose's Rebel Alliance iris ring from The Last Jedi is a DIY project I'm excited to share with you. The iris mechanism in this project is based on a clever design from Thingiverse. I adapted it to scale down to a ring size that's perfect for everyday wear. With this design, I was able to make the blades thicker and easier to handle, making assembly a little less delicate than before. My video provides clear instructions on how to assemble each component. One uncommon material needed for this build is M1 x 6mm cheese head screws. To print all the necessary components, follow these quantities: Iris Blade: 6x Rebel Symbol Insert: 1x Ring Base: 1x (with options for different sizes below) Ring Cap: 1x Slotted Disc: 1x Enjoy your Rebel Alliance iris ring! Edit: To accommodate different finger sizes, I've added more versions of the Ring Base to the STL files. These include: Ring Base, SW Rose Ring, 13mm ID Ring Base, SW Rose Ring, 15mm ID Ring Base, SW Rose Ring, 17mm ID Ring Base, SW Rose Ring, 19mm ID Ring Base, SW Rose Ring, 21.6mm ID (same size as file from 12-29-17) Ring Base, SW Rose Ring, 23mm ID Ring Base, SW Rose Ring, 25mm ID Each option has a different inner diameter, so you can choose the perfect size for your needs.
