The Rebel Alliance's Phantom 1, a starship model kit designed for enthusiasts. This project requires additional details and painting to bring it to life. Initially conceived at full scale, the design was scaled down to 1/43 to match the Deagostini Millennium Falcon model. This is a nearly finished work-in-progress (WIP) that needs a final touch: designing a seat. Any additional detailing on the exterior or interior is left up to your imagination and skill. Don't expect me to do all the hard work for you! Construction is straightforward, but it does require some finesse. The folding wings need 8 sewing pins for pivots, while 2 small screws are necessary for the front cannons. These cannons slide into place for forward docking on the Ghost. The rear door will pivot, but first, you'll need to attach 2 brackets that hold the pivot shaft in place. I left them separate to prevent infill from making them unusable. If you have any suggestions for canopy glass, feel free to share your ideas. Once time allows (and I find the patience to sand it down), I'll post construction photos and a guide to help others build this model kit. UPDATE: To make building easier, I've added an updated door with wing spacers and rests. These will ensure a smooth fit and prevent any issues during assembly. ANOTHER UPDATE: For those interested in detailing the interior, I've added an inner roof liner that needs fitting before attaching the rear door and nose. FINAL UPDATE: I've completed some interior parts, which are optional but can add depth to your model kit. Feel free to modify or add to this kit as you see fit. This model kit is now complete.
