Star Wars Pencil Holder

This design allows you to hold a pencil, mechanical pencil, or pen with ease. The part measures exactly 1.99 cubic inches and is approximately 4 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 2 inches tall. Its surface area totals 33.05 square inches. A Star Wars title adorns the front of the holder, complete with two hooks in the back to securely hold a pencil. Additionally, a small base plate has been incorporated to prevent the holder from toppling over. To minimize plastic usage and printing costs, the part was specifically designed to be printed efficiently. How I Designed This This particular part is one of three custom designs I created as part of my engineering challenge. As an enrolled student in my High School's engineering class, this challenge was a class-wide effort. The task was to develop three organizers with a specific theme that utilized no more than 2 cubic inches of plastic. Since the release of Star Wars VII had recently taken place, I chose that theme for my project.
