This is the Star Wars S5 Heavy Blaster, making a notable appearance in both Episode I and II. Notably, there was a surprising scarcity of models and images available for this particular model. As I delved into gathering reference materials for this project, I discovered that the original prop was actually crafted using a Feinwerkbau Model C55 airsoft pistol. With this knowledge in hand, the hardware requirements for building this blaster became clear: 2x M3 20mm screws to secure the bottom piece of the grip. To ensure comfort and functionality, I designed the model to mimic the original airsoft design, allowing the bottom section to slide up and down smoothly. If access to these specific screws proves challenging, I have included a separate model that can be printed as an alternative solution. Most parts can be oriented to minimize or eliminate the need for support during printing. The wall brackets, on the other hand, employ picture hanging strips that can be easily peeled away.
