Star Wars MSE-6 Repair Droid Desk Caddy
prusaprinters

This is a replica of the MSE-6 repair droid from Star Wars, made into a desk caddy. it has storage both inside of it, and on the top of it, and has optional dividers you can print. I've got ahead and also uploaded version of the top / bottom pieces split in half because they wouldn't print as one piece on my printer. Print the following:

x1 Top (Cut 1)
x1 Top (Cut 2)
x1 Bottom (Cut 1)
x1 Bottom (Cut 2)
x1 Side Panels
x4 Wheel

Print instructions

Licence: Creative Commons - Attribution Category: Organization Print Settings

Printer Brand: RepRap

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Resolution: 0.2mm

Infill: 20%

Post-Printing

After printing, you'll need to glue Top (Cut 1) and Top (Cut2) together, and then glue the side panels to this (one on each side). Next, glue Bottom (Cut 1) and Bottom (Cut 2) together. Then, glue the wheels into the wheel wells for this bottom piece.

Don't glue the top pieces to the bottom pieces! They slide together, and slide apart to reveal an inner storage area. After gluing, I did a lot of sanding, and used some bondo + sanding to fill the gaps between pieces and smooth it out.
