Star Wars Light Saber Stand
pinshape
My friend recently purchased a Kylo Ren light saber for his son's birthday, and I wasn't thrilled with the standard stand that came with it. So, I decided to create my own custom stand. The new stand is specifically designed to hold the saber upright and features a clip that can be attached to the wall using double-sided tape. This allows the user to keep the blade securely in place while still allowing for easy display. One of the nice touches on this design is the ability to add a logo to the top of the clip, which can be glued on once applied. The base of the stand already has a logo printed on it. Here are the print settings I used: Printer: DRT-HanBot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: Extruder Heat = 200c, Bed Heat = 65c, Print Speed = 100mm/s, Shell thickness = 0.4-0.8, Solid top and bottom thickness of 0.6 I designed this stand using FreeCad, a popular open-source CAD software that's perfect for creating custom designs like this one.
