Star Wars Legion Terrain - Modular Watchtower and Walkways

This set of models is a versatile walkway and tower system for various sci-fi wargames, including Star Wars Legion. The system is designed to be highly customizable, allowing users to create numerous layouts and setups tailored to their specific game needs. Currently, the system is scaled to 32mm. TOWER COMPONENTS The towers are divided into three sections, each available in two versions: with or without a ladder. Each section features four slots for attaching walkways and four pegs to align the next tower piece. The top of each section has four slots and four pegs. PIECES Base - A sturdy foundation for the bottom of the tower. Center - A straightforward, versatile piece that can be used multiple times to create taller towers. Top - This component features outward flanges to clearly indicate the top of the tower. TOWER TOPS/CAPS/PLATFORMS There are several small platforms and caps available to customize the top unit according to personal preference. The Watchtower Lookout platform is spacious enough for a whole squad, featuring a roof that can be attached on top. WALKWAYS Walkways come in two styles, both 100mm and 150mm long. It's essential to note that the walkway should fit snugly into its slot. To achieve this, I've provided two sizes: A - Snug Fit and B - Looser Fit. Before printing your walkways, test a small piece first using the Small Platform model in both sizes. This way, you can avoid wasting filament and ensure the platform that fits can be used in your setup. The walkway should fit into the slot flush with the top, allowing tower pieces to stack neatly and enabling more walkways to be added in different directions. UPDATE 5/2/18 I've added a version of Base, Center, and Top featuring ladder openings for magnets on top. I used D41 1/4" dia. x 1/16" thick magnets from K&J Magnetics for this design. The bottom of the center and top models has space to insert a metal thumbtack (0.39" or 10mm heads). You can find these in most office supply stores or at work, listed as "Imperial Watchtower center module magnet ladder" under the files section. UPDATE: 5/7/18 I've added a version of the larger platform with barricades on four sides for cover. UPDATE: 5/11/18 By request, I modified a module to allow attaching a Comm Tower and Dish. I included two versions of the center block with Comm tower and one where you can simply mount the whole model using standard pegs. Additionally, I've included the Comm Dish, identical to my other model for convenience.
