Star Wars Legion Command Tokens
thingiverse
Creating Command Tokens for Legion in 3D Builder was an attempt. I designed these tokens using this software. If you draw from a bag and touch the unit type, it's possible due to the tactile feel. I tested both raised and sunken details and found no difference in the feel. My recommendation is to paint the sunk area with clear coat, like Testors gloss clear from a bottle using a brush. Apply heavily until dry. If needed, add a second layer after it dries. Then sand the unit side with fine sandpaper. The final step is to spray the entire side with gloss clear. After it's dry, go back and spray the faction side. This will give the tokens a glossy finish. You could also use paint for the sunken area instead of clear coat. The same steps apply: fill with paint, then seal with clear coat. I'll post photos to show this process. I'm working on status tokens as well, trying to create them in 3D Builder.
