Star Wars Kenner Blaster Locking Knobs

These are the knobs that secure the battery cover to the back of the Kenner Han Solo Blaster toy. Manufactured in various colors over time, most originals display a silver/grey hue. Typically, these knobs are missing and I saw this as an opportunity to practice blender modeling skills while restoring my childhood toy. Overall, this project was easy to model but testing revealed some issues with the printed piece. I modified the nub to prevent it from breaking, keeping its original appearance intact. Unfortunately, I don't have access to an original so I had to rely on photos and precise measurements to get a close replica. However, it turned out well enough that for a casual toy enthusiast, it will greatly enhance the overall satisfaction of completing the piece. I recommend printing this with a 0.2mm layer height and configuring the file to print the bottom clip at 100% resolution. If you discover a better way to print this design, please share your findings with me. I printed it with the bottom clip facing down and using supports for added stability. Additionally, the BLEND file is included if you wish to make any modifications.
