Star Wars Imperial TIE Fighter 3D model
cgtrader
Detailed model of an original trilogy era Imperial TIE Fighter including pilot. This highly detailed model boasts a whopping 64,000 vertices (excluding subsurf and bevel modifiers where applicable). The model is divided into three primary full PBR materials: the main fuselage including interior, the wings, and the pilot. Each material features base color, metallic, specular, roughness, and normal maps. Notably, the fuselage and wing maps are 4k in resolution, while the pilot maps are all 2k. The fuselage also includes a 2k emission map for control panels, adding a touch of realism to this intricate design. The cockpit windows have a basic glass material, allowing for seamless compositing. Additionally, a separate object is provided for an engine exhaust with a simple emission material (use a glare node in compositing to add a glow effect). Note that the vertex count in the .obj and .fbx versions exceeds 400,000 (946.852 tris). Moreover, the materials may not import correctly in .obj files; however, each texture map is clearly labeled, making it easy to relink them.
