<p>This is a remix of my earlier ISD I. I have added a bit more detail and an ISD II version.</p><p>There are four versions in total:</p><ul><li>The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer (ISD I), which appears in <i>A New Hope</i> and <i>Rogue One</i>.<ul><li>Ship: “print_sw_isd_ISD_I.stl” or “print_sw_isd_ISD_I_small_scale.stl”</li><li>Stand: “print_sw_isd_stand_ISD_I.stl”</li></ul></li><li>Its successor, the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer (ISD II), which appears in <i>The Empire Strikes Back</i> and <i>Return Of The Jedi</i>.<ul><li>Ship: “print_sw_isd_ISD_II.stl” or “print_sw_isd_ISD_II_small_scale.stl”</li><li>Stand: “print_sw_isd_stand_ISD_II.stl”</li></ul></li><li><i>ISD Chimaera</i>, flagship of Grandadmiral Thrawn. My version of <i>Chimaera</i> is an ISD I with the cannons of an ISD II and the distinctive emblem from <i>Rebels</i> added to both sides.<ul><li>Ship: “print_sw_isd_chimaera.stl” or “print_sw_isd_chimaera_small_scale.stl”</li><li>Emblem: “print_sw_isd_chimaera_emblem_topside.stl" and “print_sw_isd_chimaera_emblem_underside.stl”</li><li>Stand: “print_sw_isd-stand_chimaera.stl”</li></ul></li><li>The Tector-class Star Destroyer appears in <i>Return Of The Jedi</i>. It's an ISD without the hangars and reactor dome.<ul><li>Ship: “print_sw_isd_Tector.stl” or “print_sw_isd_Tector_small_sclae.stl”</li><li>Stand: “print_sw_isd_stand_Tector.stl”</li></ul></li></ul><p>This model is at 1:10,000 scale. It is 16cm long, 10.2cm wide and 5.5cm tall. If you want to rescale it, take a look at the small_scale versions. Some parts like the thruster and sensor array are thickend in these versions, because otherwise they become to small to print at lower scales.</p><p>Included is a simple stand.</p><h3>Print Instructions</h3><p>Printed at 0.2mm layer height. Needs support on buildplate.</p><p>For slicing <i>Chimaera</i>, you have to add the emblem as a part to the ship. In PrusaSilcer, after adding “print_sw_isd_chimaera.stl”, right-click on the model, select “add part”→"load…" and choose “print_sw_isd_chimaera_emblem_topside.stl" and/or “print_sw_isd_chimaera_emblem_underside.stl”, depending on what you want.</p><p><strong>UPDATE: Added the Tector-class Star Destroyer</strong></p><p>The Tector pretty much only exists because of one scene in the Battle of Endor where the Falcon flies along the underside of an ISD missing its hangars and reactor dome.</p><p>I could not find a definitive source for how its topside looks like. All images I could find are fan-creations and they either used the ISD I or ISD II. I went with the topside of an ISD II.</p><p><strong>UPDATE 2: Changed how the </strong><i><strong>Chimaera</strong></i><strong> emblem is created</strong></p><p>This barely affects the print apart from the fact that you only need two emblem-files instead of 12. It does make it a lot easier for me to create new emblems or add them to other ships.</p>
