Star Wars Figure Display Stand IKEA Billy Book Case
thingiverse
A Modular Display Stand for Star Wars Figures. Designed to be printed in sections at low print resolutions, making it a quick printing project. 8 sections will fit within the width of an IKEA Billy Book Case. To assemble this stand, you'll need to print multiple pieces per section. The orange inset is made from a piece of styrene, painted, trimmed, and super glued behind the face. Each piece fits together seamlessly without the use of glue. No printing supports are required; simply print face down on the print bed for a smooth finish. A new connector will eventually be uploaded, precision-sized to meet the exact needs of this stand. New photos have been added, showcasing my second version of this design. Version 1 necessitated too many pieces that required gluing and were difficult to align. Version 2, however, fits together quite well even with low-res prints. Future plans include adding a connector for the first and last pieces to tie them securely to the rest of the stand. While it works without one, starting the build can be challenging; I recommend building from the middle out.
