Star Wars Episode VII Storm Trooper Helmet Keyring.\nThis was the second version after my first was pulled by the designer of the model I had used as inspiration. I apologize to that artist.\nThe current version came from a freely shared design that I tweaked and reinforced with a stronger ring. Despite some imperfections, this design held its own in other areas, balancing out the overall appearance.\nOne mystery persisted, however - why was the model displayed in the wrong orientation?\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand:\n Ultimaker\n \n Printer:\n Ultimaker 2\n \n Rafts:\n No\n \n Supports:\n Yes\n \n Resolution:\n 0.1\n \n Infill:\n 15%\n \n Notes:\n The sculpted bottom of the keyring would require support, so I added lines to make it easier to remove. Leaving it unfilled might work, but considering it's intended for keys, a bit of extra strength wouldn't hurt. Two shells provided that rigidity.\nDesign Process\nThe idea was simple - share with others.\n My design began by using a freely shared model that I scaled up and lightly touched, then added a sturdy ring through meshmixer. The project was created for my son's benefit.
