Poe Dameron and Finn successfully commandeer a Tie Fighter in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Using 123D Design software, I first designed the full-scale version of the ship. Next, I created a smaller, more compact model that fits inside a monitor case, utilizing an Xiaomi or Xaioyi camera for exceptional visuals. A hole is strategically placed at the bottom to accommodate the USB transmission line, allowing seamless installation. The cabin's main body features an articulated joint, providing flexibility and mobility reminiscent of a Lego doll cockpit. However, when the joint is damaged, it requires repair. To add an extra layer of realism, I incorporated special effects parts for laser guns and thrusters, which can be printed with Nylon for enhanced authenticity. These special effects parts include: * effect_jetA, requiring two prints and recommended to use a 0.2mm nozzle for optimal quality * effect_jetB, requiring one print * effect_laserA, recommended to use a 0.2mm nozzle for improved results * effect_laserB, requiring one print To achieve the best possible print quality, some parts are designed to be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle, as indicated in the file name. The pedestal part features a First Order badge design and can be printed using multi-color layered printing to create a height of 12.2mm (using 0.2mm layer print as an example). This technique allows for a more realistic color change effect. To assemble the model, M2 * 35mm screws and corresponding hex nuts are required, which can be sourced online through auction sites.
