Star Wars Episode 7 First Order Helmet (wearable)
thingiverse
I'm trying to remix this project so that the front and side extensions are separate from the full helmet. I used the first sharp-edged version since I like it most that way. I'm working on smoothing out the polygons, and I'll keep you posted on my progress. This model should be printable on a 200x200x200 base. Update: January 11, 2018 I stopped editing this model because I started using Blender. The new model is now available at a different location that can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2754159. Update: November 26, 2017 I finished editing the model and think it's now smoother. I'm starting to test print it now. It will take some time since the estimated printing time for all parts is 17 days, 18 hours, and 12 minutes, but I'll keep you updated on my progress. Programs used: * Autocad * Meshmixer for editing and smoothing * Windows 3D Builder for separating parts Slicing program: Cura Setup: * Layer height: 0.06 * Shell thickness: 0.8 * Infill density: 20% * Print speed and travel speed: 60
