I will admit that the supports can be frustrating due to their compact size and fragile threads - fortunately, they are only required at the buildplate for the top's screw-in end. I utilized three tree supports and after carefully removing as much of them as possible, I simply screwed it together a few times and achieved perfect results. I added a screw adapter to ensure exceptional stability without having to glue the two pieces together. I designed the threads to be relatively small so that if additional height is needed, one can simply screw in just enough to meet the requirement, thus avoiding the need to redo the entire thread pattern or else cut and extend the base.
