Star Wars D-O Droid (Dynamic Build)
thingiverse
My Ender 3 compatible D-O droid build designed to fit on the 23x23x25cm printbed of my machine. It's still in beta, and the wheel and side panels are working great, but some internal parts might be changed soon. I'll update these files frequently, so stay tuned. Special thanks go out to DavidOx21 for letting me use his template as a starting point. If you're planning on building a static model, I highly recommend checking out his work at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3559890. NOTES ==================== * The tire ring files are actually for both the left and right sides - I didn't create separate rings for each side. * You'll need to print two pieces of the tire bumps for each side. * Due to tight clearances, you may need to use a 3mm or 6mm drill bit and sandpaper. BOM List ==================== * 2x MG14 mini servos * 2x Mini Digital Servo (for the head) * 6x bearings with an inner diameter of 3mm, width of 3mm, and outer diameter of 6mm * 6x bearings with a flange, inner diameter of 4mm, width of 10mm, and outer diameter of 10mm * 50x M3 8mm dome head hex screws * A minimum of 300mm of 3mm carbon fiber rod FILE UPDATE SUMMARY --------------------- +UPDATE (15-05-2019) Cone.STL has been updated.
