Star Wars Bow TIE Fighter (2 versions!)

Inspired by this https://www.printables.com/model/46756-bow_tie-fighterThe original only had files for an MK3. I don't have one, so I decided to make my own, for use by any 3D printer.I present to you my version, made from scratch (which is a big deal, I am NOT well-versed in 3D modeling).There are two versions, solid and mesh. I have not tried printing the mesh version yet, so if you do, please upload a picture and tell me how it went. I don't imagine it would be an issue, but I'm curious. I spent a LOT of time making those holes line up properly.I would recommend support for the bottom side, where the slot is, but you might be able to get away with no supports. I would recommend doing it regardless, because no one would see that area anyway. I printed at 50% infill, but that was likely overkill. Still, it's been rock solid, and it's a fairly small piece, so it might be worth the slightly extra filament.If you want dual color like I did, insert 2 filament changes! I did it at layer 6 and 26, printing at 0.2 mm; your experience may differ, defer to your slicer on this one.Anyway, there's a slot in the back where you can slip through a standard bow tie's width of fabric, or just use whatever you've got lying around (I cut up the bottom of an old t-shirt, it worked remarkably well). The slot is fairly narrow, so thinner fabric is better. Maybe at some point I'll deepen the slot.I literally discovered the original piece yesterday (May 3), and spent all day perfecting my version to have it ready to wear today (May the 4th). It wasn't rushed, but I did want to get this published before the day was out. I'm sorry I didn't get it out sooner.I hope you like it!
