I discovered the cardboard range marker that comes with the game is too long and far too flimsy for its own good. Trying to fiddle it in place when all of your squadrons are packed tight becomes an overwhelming annoyance, turning games into never-ending ordeals. To make matters worse, one of ours has already begun to warp and crumple. Distance sticks measure out to a maximum distance of 4, while the cardboard version included with the game can be used for a range of 5 units. Additionally, this tool doubles as a firing range stick for squadrons, or it helps determine who's currently engaged with yours.
