Star Trek Valley Forge class 1:1000 Ver. 2
thingiverse
This is an enhanced edition of my previous remix of outcastrc's model, with several key areas corrected to address issues that were causing problems. The revised parts should now print more smoothly and fit together better. I would like to extend special thanks to Edi62768 for pointing out where some of the troubles lay. It has been scaled up to 1/1000 to match the Polar Lights models. This version also includes two upper saucers, one from outcastrc's model (2B) and another that I modified to better represent Masao Okazaki's original design as featured in The Starfleet Museum (2A). It measures approximately 25cm (9.7 inches) in length, and I highly recommend printing it at the highest possible resolution, particularly on the saucer sections, to achieve a precise surface finish. I have also included a stand that can be assembled by drilling out the necessary hole size for whatever rod or dowel you intend to use. Outcastrc, David Metlesits, and Masao Okazaki are truly exceptional individuals, so please do check them out!
