This is my take on NOMAD from Star Trek Original Series, specifically the episode "The Changeling." Nomad asserts, "Biological infestation must be sterilized. Non sequitur. Your facts are uncoordinated." This model allows you to illuminate the body. It was updated in January 2020 with new panel components. To assemble it, print the Panel Top upside down without supports. You will need four printed body panels and some small tabs to attach them to the Body Top. Glue each panel in place. The benefits of using this version include cleaner holes on the body. However, it requires more work and post-print processing. Notes: * BODY: The front is designed to fit only one way, so be sure to align it correctly. * Print the body with the solid side facing up, like a vase. * The body may not be printable using FDM due to fine holes; DLP/SLA printers are recommended. * FDM users can print the split head separately. * LED lighting requires a 5mm diameter common LED; the light mounts are designed for these LEDs.
