I'd seen a few VISORs online but none had such peculiar designs. Most just weren't appealing to me. Then I spotted one here, and although I couldn't print or slice it because its shape kept changing, I saw the potential. I took the initiative to design a better model for everyone to use as long as they give credit where credit is due. Since mine had printed well except for some slight misalignment with the built-in XYZ slicer that went back and forth instead of from left to right, leaving tiny ABS strands on the poles. However, these were easy to remove after sanding which wasn't necessary anyway since the top and bottom came out smooth as glass if I were using a glass base. Unfortunately, my model did warp somewhat due to excessive heat during printing and not enough adhesive use... After learning that Elmer's purple glue sticks work perfectly for ABS, they saved me. As an added note, the XYZ loctite blue & silver bottle GEL CONTROL really worked well - only took about 20 seconds for solid hold. It also helped with fixing some small pole breaks. I decorated it using acrylic paint and Paint Pens where gold was the real challenge due to being watery, needed 3 applications. Next time a gold pen would be recommended... Black plastic vinyl rope that stayed secure within Loctite glue was then wrapped around the frame and remained firm throughout my experiments, also had enough space inside for additional padding or support for faces if desired. Its size fits larger noses like mine while designed to work across different face shapes resting at the cheek bone.
