Star Trek TNG Desktop Computer Inspired Tablet Stand

This is a basic design for desktop computers seen on desks on Star Trek: The Next Generation. It's made to fit a NextBook 10.1" tablet PC, but can easily be adjusted to suit other devices. I'm sharing the design in three parts here. You're free to print off what you need. I actually printed the back half as a functional desktop stand for my daughter - it's no longer Star Trek-inspired at this point. The front section doesn't serve any real purpose, and if you wanted to remove the rear support ring and just use the tablet holder and front piece, you'd probably need to add some weight to keep it stable. I hollowed out the bottom to save material and make room for a USB hub. You might also want to add heavy metal pieces or something else to prevent it from tipping over. Alternatively, you could leave the back ring on, but this configuration would take up a lot of desk space.
