This is a slight enhancement of the original design that @fullcarbonbike did... just adding a few things, the core design is still theirs and is unchanged. In order to make it more detailed, I added a separate beveled inner liner to be the viewscreen's inner bezel (as it is blue in the series) as well as the "data cartridges" they always had on the show. Easiest way to work with the cartridges is print them in white and just go over them with sharpies in the color(s) you want, i wasted time printing them in multiple colors, because i'm a nerd like that. You could also just sharpie/paint the bezel as well as it is quite thin. A few of comments about this: - Supports are important on the top section, particularly in the screen area and around the back lower lip... otherwise you'll end up with jagged edges or sags. - I also used supports on the base, notably under the little flare at the back where the cable comes out and inside the "storage area" on the front. I also put small ones under the "switches" on the front because they are so small they can deform. - For the "cartridges" and the inner bezel, detail is important as these are small and fragile. I printed them at 0.1mm with 100% infill. There is also a "half cartridge" you can insert into the 'data slot' on the front. They hold in place quite well with super glue. I used Overture PETG at 250/90 when printing this because it's what i had loaded and what I tend to use in general. I also added in a small square of translucent cutting board material in the screen area to give the screen that "fuzzy" look from Star Trek. As noted in the original, you'll need a single #4 - 3/8" flat or panhead screw to hold the base and top together. You may also need to ream out that hole a tad to get the screw-head to countersink properly.
