When assembling Bishops and Pawns, I found it beneficial to drill holes in the centers of the base parts to run a length of filament up the center, ensuring stability and alignment. I also discovered that a product called "Plastruct Plastic Weld" is incredibly effective on ABS plastic. This product melts ABS, allowing me to smooth out surfaces after assembly. However, I must caution users to apply it in a well-ventilated area, as my wife refers to it as "stinky glue." Completing a set requires time and effort, but the end result is well worth it.
