This is a reimagined take on an iconic Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise silhouette, resized and thickened to accommodate a custom handle that I've repurposed as a sturdy stamp. Unlike its original counterpart, this design isn't a mirror image because it's centered around the platform side, ensuring seamless functionality. The robust stamp is crafted using ABS plastic, which proved to be an excellent choice for several reasons: Firstly, it offers easier sanding flat, a crucial factor in achieving a crisp print. Secondly, the handle piece attaches securely with just a dash of acetone on both sides and a gentle press. Lastly, adjusting the paper to compensate for the firm stamp's slight give is a breeze – simply place a soft backing under the surface and you're good to go. To bring this design to life, I employed a standard store-bought ink pad designed specifically for rubber stamps, resulting in rich, vibrant impressions that pop off the page.
