Star Trek Discovery Tricorder hand scanner

Star Trek Discovery Tricorder hand scanner

thingiverse

This is an updated, more precise Star Trek Discovery hand scanner created by Casey J Sullivan for me. He has given his permission to post on Thingiverse so everyone can have it. The three-part scanner lets you recreate the interior in a non-activated (white) or activated (light blue) state more realistically. The scanner top has a sunken spot where you can attach a rare earth magnet, allowing you to replicate how it connects into the Tricorder rear cradle. The new scanner fits perfectly into the Discovery tricorder rear cradle that was previously posted on Thingiverse by trekcolencc1701. Note: ***I have just added a spacer plug file that fits into the top sunken spot, making it easier to replicate the original prop. This also makes it simpler to paint the spacer plug either white (off) or light blue (activated), without ruining the silver/chrome scanner top paint job.***
