Star Trek - Astrometrics Lab Door Sign
thingiverse
Update 1: Added a backplate to print in a different color, if you so choose. Or for added strength. I made it thick (Z-Axis) for better customization. Use your preferred slicer to scale the Z-Axis down (i.e.; 95%, 92.5%, 90%, etc). I use Cura as my preferred slicer, and it has a dedicated menu for scaling on the left side - specifically, I uncheck "Uniform Scaling", and set the Z-Axis Scale to 70% to reduce it's height. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Update 2: Added a backplate with a polygon pattern to reduce filament usage. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Star Trek Door Sign / Plaque - inspired by Star Trek Voyager's Astrometrics Lab using TNG's font for the lettering. I cannot take credit for the actual Comm Badge though - unfortunately I didn't 'Collect' this model in Thingiverse, therefore I am unable to add the original author to the credits. Enjoy!
