Metabee on floor plane

Thingiverse Daveysir Free 3D Printable

UPDATE: Smaller bed where the models stands on.This model of Metabee is far from perfect. BUT! With the settings as shown in the picture the model seems to be printing perfect. horizontal expansion 0.3 or more is the most important.I printed it with wood filament ( not easy ) It was my first wood print so the settings were not perfect, I had a lot of stringing. There are some weak parts in the model, Weakest part is the knee where the whole model stands on. But it stands. The three models from left to right are printed with a temp of 195 the left - 200 the middle - and the right one 205. Left is with all the Tree support still there straight from the print bed, the middle is with support cut of with a trim knife. The right is also reworked with a hot knife. Also the skirt is missing but i can easely melt that on later. ( remember first print )Reminder: Set the Mesh fixes as shown and a horizontal offset off 0,2 or more.I hope u like it and please show a picture when you printed it out :)
