Star Lord GotG Belt Buckle
thingiverse
I had a belt buckle printed from a file here at the Thingiverse, but I wasn't happy with its accuracy, so I spent some time in SolidWorks and designed a more accurate one. I printed it at 0.1mm resolution with line supports everywhere on my Ultimaker 2+. After printing, I used automotive spot putty to fill in the gaps, then sanded down the curves until they were smooth as glass. Next, I randomly applied heat from a hot soldering iron for some extra weathering effects. Following that, I applied a primer coat, did some more light sanding, and airbrushed on a metallic coat of gunmetal mixed with silver to give it a nickel-like finish. This design is for personal use only - please don't try to print it and sell it online as your own creation. Bigger fools than you have tried to do this with my other designs in the past. Just... don't. Print it for yourself or your friends, but don't share it with anyone looking to make a quick buck.
