My wife decorates trees with lights for every major holiday, and she asked me to make some custom stars in patriotic colors to fit on a small light strand for Independence Day. This design is specifically made for 4mm bulbs. # Before You Start Printing Before making a bunch of these custom star decorations, print out one light holder first to see if it's sized well for your light strand bulbs. If the fit feels slightly snug, use a needle file to remove some material. If the bulb won't fit at all, you may need to adjust the model. # Credits for Remixing This custom design is a combination of two popular models: Kadah's Xmas Light Cover Template and a star created from mbeyerle116's Star 3D (Customizable) OpenScad Library. The light holder in this design has been scaled down to 95% of Kadah's original size.
