Another Christmas Design is Taking Shape I've been working on an improved version of my previous design, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2260213. I've decided to create a new thing with the latest enhancements. This updated design features closed, single perimeter walls instead of the open wireframe structure in the original model. It prints without support, but you may need some for the base part depending on your printer's capabilities. The design is inspired by traditional German Christmas decorations, specifically a deco star, which I've shrunk down to make it more suitable for printing. The finished product requires 13 pieces to assemble, including 12 point bodies and one base component. To facilitate assembly, I clipped the tip of one of the 12 points to allow a cable to pass through. This makes it easy to add some extra flair with lights. Speaking of which, I've incorporated a battery-powered LED light into the design using a bulb from a child's lantern attached to a piece of cable or a short LED chain. Please note that model units are measured in millimeters.
