Star Hold: Ninja Warrior Series
thingiverse
This original Ninja Warrior-style hold was designed and refined over the course of multiple months to fit many hand sizes and multiple 3D-printer specifications. Inspired from the TV show "American Ninja Warrior," it fits right in with any ninja warrior course. It can be printed using typical PLA filament (no pesky ABS) and is strong enough to hold roughly 250 pounds with roughly 70 percent infill. To assemble the hold, you will need one 3/8" x 3" eye bolt, one 3/8" hex nut, and one 3/8" x 1" washer. The eye bolt can then be screwed in to the hole, which is a naturally tight fit. The washer can then be placed in line with the eye bolt (it fits snugly in the larger hole on the bottom), and the hex nut can then be placed underneath the washer. It is necessary to ensure that each part is secured together tightly--because this is a larger hold, a washer was added to provide extra support, and its functionality would be significantly decreased if the assembly was not properly tightened. Now, all you need is some rope (to be strung through the eye bolt) and a place to hang it up. Then, you'll have a fully-functional ninja warrior-style Star Hold!
